Jefferson Street United Methodist Church
Almost 13 weeks old, Reene is wearing the same gown Scott wore when he was baptized.
In attendance were Katie and Bert, George and Anna, Sarah and John, Barbara, Sam, Mom and Dad, Mike and Suzanne, Ellen and CW, David and Betty, and Laurie and Tal.

Jefferson Street presented Reene with a certificate and baptism candle.
Yaya and Papa prepared an amazing lunch at their house for everyone after Reene's baptism.
Granddaddy made a little jewelry box from Cherry wood and placed one of Grandmother Cherry's cross necklaces in it.
Suzanne gave Reene a little "christening bear."
Aunt Betty and Uncle David gave Reene a dainty little handkerchief doll that is also to be used when she gets married.
George and Anna gave her some adorable Bible story board books.
LaLa gave her a little pearl bracelet with a cross on it and a beautiful Alphabet Bible story book.
Aunt Ellen and Uncle CW gave Reene several outfits, books, a bunny, and some Alabama baby goods!

No, I didn't catch it on camera, but Cousin Abe had Reene Parker laughing out loud for the first time that I've seen! Yaya claims it happened at her house several days prior to this.

As Cheryl Rinehart said when she saw these pics, "Of course...all great Millsaps gals must go to Keifer's!" Reene, you may not choose to be a Millsaps gal, but we will absolutely take you to Keifer's!
We took her again two weeks later with Natchez ladies, Sarah, Haley, Cassie (& Avery), and Lindsey (& Hayden).

Reene looked adorable for church on father's day! She woke up early to give her daddy a Super Dad t-shirt, a "Daddy's Girl" pacifier, Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters book on the 10 secrets every father should know, My Daddy Loves Me book, and a new kindle case with built-in light. 12 weeks old, and her face already lights up when he comes home from work.
